Interested in completed models? I can help you with that. I have over 50 years training, knowledge, and experience in scale modeling. In the prototype world, I graduated the University of Alaska’s Welding Technology Degree program where I trained as a fabricator. I also graduated the U.S. Air Force Aircraft Fabricators School in Aberdeen Proving Grounds. And worked as a professional fabricator for 22 years. I specialize in Ag and Heavy Industrial scale modeling, as well as custom open top commodity loads for flatcars and gondolas.

Custom Design and Fabrication

ALL work is Time and Materials. I don’t mind giving a bit of a guess as to how long something will take to construct, but this is only an estimation. Scale modeling fabrication and super detailing work is a craft, not a science. Meticulous details, great care, and delicate skill all take time. This all applies to Weathering as well. Weathering a large structure, Heavy Industry scene or Ag (Feed or Grain) scene all take time. My labor rate is $30/hr. Materials such as styrene, printer filament, printer resin, weathering supplies, people, chain, brass, etc. are all charged to the customer.

Transport of Finished Models

Delivery to your house is available, no matter where you live in the Continental U.S. at a rate of $15/hr from my home to your layout and back to my home (round trip). Travel time is calculated by using Apple Maps Navigator for the fastest route. You are also welcome to drive to my studio to pick up your project. As a plan C, there are museum moving companies that can ship your models from my studio to your layout location. I can help with these arrangements, whichever you chose. I look forward to working with you to help make your dreams reality.
