Foster Wheeler D-Type Boilers have been a standard in marine construction for decades. Shipped from Dansville NY to shipyards all over the U.S., they fit most any era railroad from transition through the 1980’s. Typically run inline in a pair, or side by side with “mirror” boilers utilizing the same smoke stack on the ship. We offer ours either way, standard or mirror.
